Calypso has caramel hair, braided over one shoulder which smells of cinnamon, almond-shaped eyes, and is, according to Percy, even more beautiful than Aphrodite.
Calypso is a character under a curse. She is lonely and whenever someone washes up on the shore, they leave her .
She is also cursed to have heroes wash up on her island, wounded or hurt, for her to heal: she would always fall in love with them, but they always have to leave and are never allowed to return to her island.
Calypso is my favorite character in the Greek Mythology. I fell in love with the character when I read her story and description. Even better was her description in the Percy Jackson book, "The Battle of the Labyrinth". If only we had that Greek and Roman mythology fashion show in my senior year, I'd have chosen to play her.
I wish I could draw so I could put into picture how I imagine her to look like. Caramel wavy hair braided with flowers woven in it, almond eyes, olive skin/a really nice tan/goddess-bronze skin (since she lives on an island) :p
Nothing like her human form in the Pirates of the Carribean.
So for me, she should look Asian-Mediterranean or something

On January 10 I went to Taft to pay for my tuition. I was so excited to practice my sewing. I planned on leaving the next day but I ended up going back here just tonight (jan 12).

Fuck that. You don't get any sympathy for that caption. And who in their right mind takes photos of themselves when they're in pain? Yes there are bad times and yes, sometimes the bad and the good times are totally not balanced but my point is I hate that caption (okay that doesn't really make much sense). You take photos to A) Capture a moment B) For Vanity but never to show people "Hey, my life is so shitty but I'm smiling". You don't need proof of that.

My aunt showed me this photo of her. She was in college in this picture.
My grandma would always talk about how pretty she was back in the day, how fair-skinned she was, how many suitors she had and how much of a heartbreaker she was. She told us how much of a playboy my grandfather was and how he chose to pursue her out of many.
Unfortunately my grandfather left her for another woman but up until now, I think my lola is still inlove with him. When she sings, it's because she remembers him. She still talks about how handsome he was.
I cannot tell lies to my future grandchildren and tell them I was very sought after back in my day. I'm very far from that :)) But I'm hoping I won't be telling them about a sad love story.

BEDROOM HAIR
Okay, WEIRD photo (hello eyebags, pale skin, weird smile). That's me, just gotten out of bed.
My hair has grown really long now but I don't think I want a haircut, probably just a trim and long layers. I spend some time trying to get my hair like this (after i shower). I love my bedroom hair! I love how it's kind of big and kind of wavy and kind of messy. And basically I just posted this so after a while I can look back to see how much my hairstyle taste has changed :))
