  • Single women: Ms Married women: Mrs.
  • Single men:Mr Married men: stillMr!

You'll know a women is married/not single by being called Mrs, by the ring on her finger, even by her belly if she's pregnant.

You'll know a man is marriedonly by the ring on his finger. But what if he takes it off?

See, that's the way society is, that's the way nature is. A woman knows all of this and subconsciously tries to keep her man's attention.
It's also why women are more jealous and accusing than men, think about it :)

Jay Fabian: Don't be a hater.

I'm not I'm just saying there's a natural reason for a woman's jealousy. And it's not fair that married men can't be called Msr. or something. That would sound silly but come on. Ladies have the commitment instilled when they become Mrs, guys should have commitment too don't you think? (another natural reason for guys to be commitment shy)

I've been living in the Philippines for 2 years now, and I guess I can say that it's a pretty liberal country compared to Bahrain. People dress the way they want, speak the way they please, and treat rules as suggestions. You've gotta love the Philippines! Over the past two years of residing here, I have encountered too many people that make you go, "What the fuck?!"

Here are some of them:

WHAT'S WITH THE...

  • lady in the MRT with a heavily made up face? after a few minutes in the train, her face looks like it's melting
  • lady with a darker complexion using snow white face powder?
  • man in the MRT/LRT only wearing a "white sando"?? If the lady behind him turns around she'd be face to face with a bussy armpit
  • person in the bus listening to his/her music, having a concert of his/her own??
  • group of girls at the mall dressed up like they're going clubbing?
  • group of teenagers practically shouting at each other and blocking the escalators near the cinema?
  • people dressing up like their favorite anime characters except there's no cosplay event?
  • guy "wearing" his cap which means his cap is  just placed on top of his head?? the cap is supposed to be worn and fitted, you just make your head look long!
  • girls wearing knee-high boots to the mall? Philippines is a tropical country people!
  • person next to you in public transportation falling asleep on your shoulder you have to give him/her a good nudge to get them off you
  • mother with her teeny infant in the MRT, who couldn't be less than 4 months old, pulling down her shirt to breast feed?? (i'm all for breast feeding and all but cover your breasts woman!) i was standing right in front of her and was shocked pretty darn good.

I KNOW you guys can relate, there's probably a lot more incidents but these are some of the highlights :)

Caroline Forbes: “Why didn't he go for me? How come the guys that I want never want me? I'm inappropriate, always say the wrong thing and Elena always says the right thing. She doesn't even try, and he just picks her. And she's always the one that everyone picks. For everything. And I try so hard and I'm never the one...”

You see there are two types of girls – one that tries and works so hard to get to the top and get what she wants and then there’s sunshine Barbie, one who doesn’t have to try at all, everything goes her way.

Blair Waldorf: [Blair referring to Serena to her Yale interviewer] “Well I'm aware that I lack some people's easy grace with strangers, and I don't exactly make you feel you've known me forever even though we just met. When I laugh you might not smile just that the coquettish sound of it and I may not be spontaneous or delightful or full of surprises and my hair may not sparkle when it catches the light! Everything worth knowing about me is in that folder. I made sure of it.”

Let’s face it, I am not Sunshine Barbie, I will never turn heads in my sweats and pony tailed hair, I will never get a guy to like me without making the first move, I will never carry a good first-time conversation with my boyfriend’s mom or sister, I’m not good with kids and I’m not good with parents. I don’t sing at all, I’m not into sports and I suck at making jokes. Basically, I think that naturally, I’m not at all interesting.

I guess what would suck more than being the “other girl” is being Caroline and Blair – being best friends with Little Miss Perfect with whom hanging out seems like a competition for attention. Plus it must totally suck for them because they have this guy in their lives who truly makes them feel special but then at one time this guy was head over feet in love with Sunshine Barbie.

Brooke Davis: “just tell me, why me this time, why not Peyton?”

Guys, when your girl asks you, “What makes me different?” or “What makes me special?” make sure you give them the right answer = tell her she was never just a second choice, that she was never just the next best thing. Tell her all about the little things they do that make you smile and go as far as quoting B.O.B. and say that all the beautiful girls in the world (mention names of people she’s insecure of if you like) have NOTHING on her; all of this while looking into her eyes. Cheesy but heads up, there is a wrong answer SO you wouldn’t wanna kill her self esteem would you?
